Biography of Luciano Menegazzi


Menegazzi Luciano was born in Venice in 1948.
He graduated Master of Arts Institute of Carmini and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
Important for its formation contact with Masters like Tonello, Dinon, Saetti Santomaso, Giovanni Poli and Mario De Luigi.

In his youth he was awarded in several collectives of art.
In 1970, during his military service, he received the 3rd prize in the important Regional Exhibition "Invitta 3rd Army" with the canvas entitled "For a woman".

Also specializes in embossed copper painting subjects with oil paints. The results are original compositions that will be appreciated in all the exhibitions. To remember the Personal to "San Lorenzo Art Gallery" in Mestre (1977).

Life reserves surprises: from designer in a major company he opened an art shop with its laboratory of frames in Martellago (a little town near Venice). Later he enrolled at the School for Footwears Modelers in StrÓ, where he graduated in 1982.
He works in various footwear companies of the Riviera del Brenta, where he will demonstrate his imagination and creative ability. It will also be an appreciated teacher for eleven years, at the Modelers School.

At the age of Fifty years the DREAM come true: Luciano become a full-time painter.
Later followed a number of important exhibitions in Italy and abroad, where he was awarded for his flair, his imagination and color rendering.
His research is directed especially to his beloved Venice. Lately, he uses to paint a "lyrical abstraction" in complete defiance with the city, in some ways even nineteenth century: this to make it unique and special in the eyes of the world.
Several paintings are on mirror to achieve greater transparency and brightness.

Relevant to the artist, the great friendship with the writer and art critic Bruno ROSADA, considered his great Master of life.
